Description
This course is an excellent opportunity to get started in the computational modeling of dynamic and transient structures and components using load and vibration spectra. This course is designed to introduce you to the main tools available in Ansys Workbench Mechanical for implicit dynamic analysis. You will learn how to correctly model damping, understand its importance, and extract vibration modes and natural frequencies from a component, assembly, or structure. In addition, the course covers harmonic dynamic loads and transient analyses, which are fundamental to dynamic analysis. Finally, the course complements this learning with more advanced analyses, such as spectral analysis to extract response peaks from a load history, as well as random vibration analysis and the interpretation of its results.
